Vardeyale Universite “Programme d'Oceanografic Studies - West Coast Campus”
The Vardeyale Universite “Programme d'Oceanografic Studies - West Coast Campus” (VUPOSWCC) is medium-sized walled estate that is located at the far eastern end of the greater Port Verlin harbor zone. The campus houses a small research center and dockyard complex designed to facilitate the work of those faculty and students in Vardeyale's Programme d'Oceanografic Studies who have a particular research interest in the aquatic flora and fauna of the Azure Sea.
Although the VUPOSWCC is technically located in East Verlin, it remains neutral in Port Verlin's local political struggles due to Vardeyale Universite’s reputation and status as the preeminent academic city-state in Aarda.
Purpose / Function
Research center for members of the Programme d'Oceanografic Studies who work in the Azure Sea region. Other Vardeyale faculty and students whose research interests bring them to the Azure Coast region (e.g., biologia fieldwork in the Dreadwood Forest, ethnografic interviews of Azure Sea trading clans, etc., etc.) often use the campus as a comfortable jumping off point for their studies.
