Ned and the Haunted Mansion

Military action

The party travels to the Haunted Mansion and find Ned, but not is all that it seems.

The adventurers travel to The Haunted Mansion where they find Ned Shakeshaft tied up in a corner room next to a chest with empty vials. He says he was kidnapped and not to go to the basement of the mansion.   The The Forever Pumpkin Platoon disregards Ned's warnings and travels to the basement. Here, they find the Wizard Sanbalet and members of The Scarlet Brotherhood readying a shipment of stolen and smuggled goods onto a ship.   A fight ensues with Wayde Les Stoodius taking serious damage. They end up killing Sanbalet. Two Hobgoblin guards - Gork and Mork - come around the corner and Seneschal tries to convince them he is the new leader of The Scarlett Brotherhood. They are skeptical but ultimately believe the warforged.   At this time Ned comes around the corner and orders the Hobgoblins to kill the party. Senechal tells the hobgoblins to kill Ned, which they do by decapitation.
