Crusty Crescent

The Crusty Crescent is a bakery in the town of Tartaran. Grelda and Gorm Pelletsnifer are the owners of the bakery. Many townspeople enjoy the exotic baking concoctions of the two gnomes and their adopted son Ginger. The Crusty Crescent bakes veggie breads serves ale and other baked goods.

Purpose / Function

The Crusty Crescent is a small cafe business. Citizens from Tartaran will come here to enjoy cakes, breads, ale, and other baked goods.

History

In 5088 Grelda and Gorm built the Crusty Crescent on an empty plot of land in the Market District of Tartaran. Their first 3 years of business were very slow until word spread among the traveling merchants who come through town. In 5091 many of the merchants would stop for Grelda's famous Carrot Bread causing the citizens to become more interested in their business. Business stayed steady for the Pelletsnifer's until 5100. Merchants became less frequent due to dangers outside of the town and the citizens slowly lost interest in the never changing menu.

Tourism

Traveling Merchants often talk about Grelda's famous carrot bread even if they have never had some. It is well known among the merchants that if you are in Tartaran be sure to try Grelda's carrot bread.
