Mal Barddock is a 57 year old human from Tartaran. He is from one of the noble families that funded Tartarans early development. He is a focused individual who has worked within Tartarans governement since the age of 16.

Personal history

Mal Barddock was born in Tartaran to his mother Perri Barddock and father Damon Barddock. He grew up and began his education at the towns school. At 16 he left to learn about politics and work in the towns government with his father. During his work with the town government Barddock met his wife Penny Barddock. When Barddock was in his first campaign for the mayor election in 5086, Penny was killed by a young dragon outside of town. Overtaken by grief Barddock resigned from his campaign and led a hunting party for the dragon. This mission took several weeks of tracking before his party found the dragon. Barddock was the only survivor barely making it himself. He returned to town with the dragon and reconstructed its skeleton naming his new decorative peice Penny. Barddock went through several election campaigns in the following years before the townspeople considered him mentally stable enough to run Tartaran. He became Tartarans mayor in 5092 with an unexpected win against his apponent Zachan Riber.

Education

When Mal Barddock was 16 he left general school to pursue an education in politics with his father. He learned about financing of large settlements for development and maintenance. Barddock was Esspecially interested in the position of mayor, a position his father had attempted to recieve several times as Barddock grew older.

Employment

Mal has worked for Tartarans government for more than half of his life. He first began his political career by working in Tartarans maintainence

First Barddock to run as mayor in Tartaran.
Slayed a Dragon.

Mental Trauma

When Barddock lost his wife he made a personal vow. When he becomes mayor he would do anything to keep the citizens of Tartaran safe. The topic of Penny, Barddocks late wife, is a difficult topic to discuss for him. He can contain his emotions but the memories clearly weigh on Barddock everyday.
