Parra
Parra is one of the true hive worlds that has managed to remain alive after the Scream. Its surface is entirely covered in layer upon layer of construction. Luckily for the inhabitants, the automated utilities that keep it functioning were designed to be fully autonomous and work on the scale of natural planet-wide systems. This means relatively clean water flows through the pipes and even sewage systems still function in most areas.
Most attempts to venture into the city more than a day's travel from the initial entry point of ended in total losses. Those that have survived described mutated animals that hunted through the city and bands of humans that seemed to avoid the explorers.
From what the reports contain, it appears either bioweapons and the creations of feral biopsions were unleashed on Parra in the past. The animals from pests to pets have been changed into predatory creatures from nightmares that hunt in the bowels of the city. The human population seems to have not mutated but are scattered among the hundreds of millions of sq miles of city.
