Shadows

Entities formed from Metadimensional energy.

These entities are only confirmed to exist in large numbers in the Ormne system. Most people outside of Ormne consider them to be nothing but backwater superstition.

It is debated amongst the people of Ormne whether Shadows are sentient creatures or simply semiautonomous constructs. The majority believe the latter explanation.

Pacters, a subset of psychics, are able to create and control these entities while Hunters, another subset of psychics, are extremely adept at destroying them.
