Nymphs Rest

A bathhouse located just outside the heap gate of Baldur's Gate. Built long ago, it is a well known spot for rest and relaxation.

Purpose / Function

A well designed bathhouse featuring an open courtyard with bences and fountains. On the inside there are large marble pools filled with scented water. Notably the plumbing is quite sophisticated, and the addition of two massage therapists make the Nymphs Rest a prominent bathhouse within Baldur's Gate.

Alterations

According to one of the massage therapists Jabaz, one of the sons of the Vanthampur Family: Mortlock runs some shady business out of the bathhouse at night. Additionally he was given strict orders to stay away after closing.

The party spent some time digging around through the bathhouse and after a brief foot massage discovered that the bathhouse has a secret door in one of the massage rooms that leads to an underground sewer dungeon that seems to be the base of operations for the Cult of the Dead Three.

History

Built long ago, the bathhouse is currently run by the Vanthampur Family, one of the 4 dukes.
