Aboleth
Originating from the depths of the Abyss, Aboleths began to appear in numbers around the time of the Gods Plague. Emerging from the Abyss, they destroyed the City of Meralia and slaying its defenders. They would dominate the seas for hundreds of years as they hunted the Kraken across the seas. They would eventually be overthrown by the Triton and their greatest foe, Leviathan.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Aboleths are eel-like aberrations which of which common specimens are often over 6 meters in length, 20ft, though they grow in length throughout their lives. Ancient Aboleths may often reach lengths up to twice as long as common Aboleths. They weight several thousand pounds on average.
Genetics and Reproduction

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Aboleths possess Psionic capabilities and should be generally avoided without some kind of mental shielding.
Civilization and Culture
History
Whatever history the Aboleths possess on Aberiam, it is shrouded in mystery with only highlights available through what information the Triton have managed to gather. Military expeditions into the Abyss have discovered outposts and evidence that the Aboleths have constructed their own civilizations within the Abyss. Many researchers speculate that the bottom of the Abyss opens up to another plane.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Aboleths are despised by the other races of the ocean for their centuries of tyrannical rule. They are actively hunted by the Triton and the remaining Kraken.
While land-dwellers know little of the Aboleths, they are rightfully wary of the creatures.
Conservation Status
Once having dominated the sea, there are few Aboleths left in the seas thanks to the dedicated hunting done by the Triton Protectorates.
