Guilding Association

The Guilding Association is an organization found mostly within Haberbeem which facilitates the founding of Guilds, having them pay dues to the overarching organization. In a way, the Guilding Association functions as a Worker's Union for Adventurers by havings guilds pay dues to it and advocating on their behalf in legal matters. They also work to obtain and distribute quests for adventurers, anything from menial labour jobs to missions to hunt an Arch-Lich.

Structure

While the organizations'own structure tends to be nebulous, it is made up largely of rich benefactors, mostly merchants, who cooperate to form the upper levels of the organization. From that point, the organization itself is led by an appointed individual who manages the funds and returns a portion of dues to the benefactors. Outside the bureaucracy of Association are Listers, special agents who seek out talented individuals to organize into new guilds.   Down the chain, each guild is generally allowed to decide their own structure.

Public Agenda

There is significant profit to be made in the field of adventuring as many adventurers will take pittance for jobs on which it may not be worth spending soldiers. There are also magic items which adventurers tend to collect which can be sold at high returns, these tend to end up in the hands of the association for guilds which pay with magic items instead of gold.

Assets

With the backing of multiple wealthy merchants and dozens of guilds, the Guilding Association is a force with which to be reckoned. If push came to shove, it's likely that the association could field a small army of elite adventurers and mercenaries.
