Niflheimr

The final resting place of all Giants, Niflheimr is a realm shrouded in mist which is patrolled by the spirits of restless Draugr, Giants who lost their way in the mist or who failed to honour the guidance of the Seer in their life. This region of Niflheimr is known as the Mists or the Plane of Challenge and is controlled by the Brother. He controls both the bad and good aspects of this realm and judges Giants on their skills, forcing them to face challenges relevant to their lives. Located somewhere within the plane are the Halls of Æsir, which is governed by the Father. It is a place of revelry where Giant's spirits are rewarded for a life of hard work and dedication with whatever their heart desires, be that the continuation of their work, rest, or pleasures.

Geography

Niflheimr appears as a highland shrouded in Mists and often beset by snow and blizzards. It is cold and wet except around the Halls of Æsir, where the weather seems to become subjective, fulfilling the desires of those who near it.

Fauna & Flora

Niflheimr is roamed by colossal fey creatures and mystical celestials which rough the hard conditions of the land, often carving out sanctuaries for traveling Giants which are allowed to exist by the grace of the Brother.
