Zelwind

Zelwind, Aberiam's version of the Feywild, is a chaotic plane of eternal twilight where the Fey creatures and the Eladrin make their home. It was once part of Archefyre and is the Fey reflection of Shadowvale. The geography of the plane is wild and untamed with endless forests, colossal cliffs, and drastic shifts in the climate which occur over only a few feet. One moment you're wandering through a dense forest and the next you see a snowy, untamed wasteland only a foot in front of you. Another you find yourself in an Eladrin city, taking a stroll you find that the city is built in the face of a colossal cliff face with a thousand-foot drop to a thick bog. It is a plane which is foreign and unpredictable to those unfortunate non-natives.

Geography

The Zelwind is characterized by dramatic shifts from one region, however, each region seems to act independently of the others with its own climate system. Each of these regions is governed by a different Fey Lord with the region reflecting their personality.

Fauna & Flora

Fey creatures, beasts, and Eladrin form the native inhabitants of the Zelwind with many of these beasts being greatly out of proportion. Even the trees possess some mystical air of intelligence to them and in fact some are spirits rather than simple trees.
