Luciean Automages
What started as a simple magic shop, selling potions, and spellcasting focuses, has grown into a thriving business of magical beings. Luciean Automages is a renowned business controlled by Lady Luciea. Working within the Dallbert city, and using the Rambeld Highway to get to places like Ebermold . It's main base of operations is on Veldrum Avenue, a luscious street known for it's profitable businesses. The Automages is no different.
The main products made by Luciean Automages are golems. Specifically, Bronze Ones. They are the most common golems to find in the Plains, due to large deposits of Bronze, and it's secondary metal in the design of the constructs, copper. Not only are they exported, in smaller parts, across Aitso's South Pole, as well as being used as Staff for the Automage's Guildhall as well. However, they cannot have every job. Some acquiring more proficiencies in skills like cooking, as well as maids and butlers for Luciea herself. She makes sure that most of them are up to par, except a singular Halfling that she keeps as her 'toy', to only use to appeal her sadistic nature. Other than him, though, she keeps only the 'finest of Dallbert's citizens' by her side.
However, like most guilds in the continent, this one has it's fair share in corruption, and criminal activities. A few deals have been made between Rakdos, the Defiler , for training golems for his strongest giants, as well as more muscle for the Apostles of the Fell Flame . Not only this, but illicit drugs and other chemicals, such as Aindluth, a painkiller criminalised by Ebermold, due to it's harsh origin of the substance. However, the Automages would send this, and others, out across to local dealers in the plains. According to them, it is just a way to make a bit more money for their future endeavours.
Luciean Automages is located in it's own guildhall, in the Veldrum Avenue. Due to it's expansive nature in the nation, it was able to pull funds together to have it's factory be located within a large basement beneath the luxurious building. Late at night, many of their neighbours report drilling noises, and screaming. Although, there is no actual proof of these, despite it being a real occurrence. Often, the workers in the factory who are still humanoid are not as fast as their mechanical peers. This has involved conveyor belts accidentally taking poor souls to an early grave, through the smelting and heavy machinery sections of the factory. Luciea, the founder, and head of the company had compensated this by hiring only certain people. Often criminals, for that underground work.
Another portion of work done for Luciean Automages is hiring adventurers, sellswords, and mercenaries, mostly from their fellow guild formed by Morden. These jobs are often done by a specific group, for around 8 months, being a group of four, later five, called Narratio Gladii, usually having their work led in negotiations by their human rogue called 'Pergos'. His work has let them gain multiple small-time contracts and bounties to complete. Before their departure, they had escorted a terrorist called Valarys to receive what they thought was punishment. Not only this, but they have gone dungeon-delving to retrieve magical items such as the Lament Monocle, Gravetender's Shovel, and more.
