I think what happened was we made the deal if he changed things I'd die young and he could have my body for science
essentially creating a hybrid of whatever species he chose and my own abilities from... someone not fully formed, I guess? He could recreate me young and form me the way he wanted me to be formed, which was the isolation of just me and him before I was introduced to the rest. So that's... a separate entity. Not a resurrection. A cloning.
Meanwhile the little me that died was paying for the sins of her predecessor, I think.
