Crithaer Empire

The Crithaer Empire, the biggest and most powerful elven Empire of today, shares its southern borders with the Phoenix Kingdom and has been both a reliable ally and a rival to the human kingdom. Its efficient organization and conservative tradition brought it fairly unchanged to the current day, despite the challenges presented throughout the ages.

Structure

The Crithaer Empire is ruled in an absolute monarchy and the royal family detains all three powers, legislative, executive, and judicial. Although having a king and queen, only one has commanded the nation in true sense. While the King rules the empire, the queen exists more like a state representative for other nations, or vice-versa, depending on the generations. The ruling member is defined by the first child born from the royal family, either it be male or female, and receives the title of prior prince or princess. Once the heir succeeds, he or she becames the prior king or queen, controlling all government branches. This absolute power isn't without its fair share of advisors. The ruling member have several counsels with his or her advisors, chosen by him or her, to help them on several decisions.
