The elf first appeared as a more sensible variation of the Human with an intrinsic talent over the arcane arts and a strong connection to the fey world. This connection leaves its members with a mystic reputation to other races, giving feelings of awe to some and distrust to others.

Anatomy

Humanoid in nature, similar to human, although more slender and elegant and having pointed ears. Their smooth skin ranges from light colors to tans and a particular subrace, the dark elves or drow, have gray or purple skin tones. The ones with lighter tones tend to have blue or gray eyes while the ones with darker colors have brown or black eyes.
