The Light from the South

Many believe, in <date>, when Ironfoot was about to fall and the southern border would be breached, the sun rose from the south, as Edhel, Bringer of the Sunlight marched towards the city against the <enemy army> and revitalized the spirit and strength of the Phoenix army, driving the invaders out and marking a miraculous victory against <enemy army>. From that day foward, Edhel, dispite being an elven deity, its considered one of the patrons of Ironfoot and venerated, not only in this city, but across the Phoenix Kingdom.
