Personal history
Left in some ruins in the woodlands of Ascium once their parents found their true nature. They were found by Sylvia Teite's foraging party and she quickly decided to adopt him despite his being.
He was since raised in the temple and took a great interest in plants, as well as discovering they quite liked him too. He excelled as a gardener and ended up scoring a job in the royal gardens. His mother is worried for his safety there but he has sworn to her that he will keep an ear out for any increase in threat towards himself and that if it comes to it he will make his way out of the city.
He feels indebted to the Central Church of Scent and thanks Scent for the blessings she has given him; a home, a skill, a family. He is very devoted to her thanks to this.
He has recently befriended the Crown's new bodyguard Cutthroat and is trying to teach him to read and write in secret so that they can communicate with each other.
He doesn't know where he stands on the decrees themselves. He wants to help but he fears he himself will be hunted for what he is so keeps to himself.
