Personal history
D'Anton used to be a soldier in the Sophre'al guard force. 3 years ago, just before the city was closed off, he can over to take part in the annual Tournament of Champions knowing the risk and hoping that he'd be fine.
He was not. He lost and also got stuck in the city as it was shut off from the world. He now puts all of his effort into training to win the tournament so that at least he can achoeve what he came here for if he can't leave.
He worries about his father, Leverette Sachille, a powerful divination wizard at the university. He wants to send a letter back to him that he's alright and will get back to him as soon as he can but hasn't been allowed to send it. He hopes his father might have had a chance to scry on him so that he at least knows he's alive.
He protecting the secret location of Zikada; a satyr druid he's had some dalliance with, and her circle that's hiding out in the forests of Ascium.
