Personal history

Naturally distrustful and inquisitive, Elvar always wanted to be a detective. She joined the investigative branch of the guards as soon as she could. As the decrees grew in severity she clashed with her boss more and more often, especially as they tried to push her towards the Mage Hunters. She was looking for a way to quit and strike out on her own when she first made contact with Luran Tirdath.
Luran had sent a scout out, with the increase in measures, to set up a more permanent structure in the capitol, Edjudence since his scattered agents would be less useful as the city closed out the world. The scout learnt about Elvar and her displeasure and arranged an agreement between the two. Elvar would start her own P.I business and report back to Luran. She jumped at the idea.
She has been running the business now for numerous years and has taken on an apprentice, Marco Olbovas, to act as an assistant and expand her capabilities. She loves having someone around to share her knowledge with, especially after her daughter, Tophra Stonepeak, escaped the city by stowing away on a ship, having always wanted to be a sailor.
