Personal history

Ermryl has always been a patron of the arts, spending most of his younger years between singing in bars and acting as a travelling bard. It was on one of these travelling occasions that lead to his devotion to The Gathering of Whispers. He stumbled upon the Monument of Songs. 
It was here he felt he had a revelation about the nature of Sound and maintaining your position as an audience member in other's stories and letting them entertain you. This directed him towards starting the group with likeminded individals.
He opened up The Careful Word Inn as a means to passively observe the lives of others for where else would be better? In recent years Zaneni the Patient, his now known neighbour, has taken to drinking in his inn until close and recounting the tle of her day and her fights to interested patrons. He has taken to her company and the pair often walk home together in comfortable serenity.
He feels a distinct rivalry with Ignition, the Loquere, who takes a little bit too close to an active role in some cases that the trio are observing.
He has overheard some of the upper echelons of his patrons talking about the ball at the Goldenfront manor and really hopes to find a way to learn about whatever may go on there.
