Personal history

Halborin used to work quite closeley with the Thieve's Guild as a freelancer. He'd set up shop for petty poisons in the sewers. He stopped working for them abruptly when one, potentially well-meaning, member asked him to poison the stores of the Keen Hand Inn to drive more people to The Jolly Knife so there'd be more marks. As a frequenter of the inn he immediately refused and will no longer work for a member of the guild.
Now he has a medical cures and remedies shop in the merchantile district that is actually a front for his poisons. Most of his remedies are watered down or false for his own cruel amusement and to earn more.
The guard, Honey Meyweather, Halborin's childhood friend and recent ally, protects his business from prying eyes as long as he supplies her for cheap.
He also likes to spend time with Neridi Alderfall, an artist who he often drinks with.
His relationship with Idomin Foolsborne was brief and, in his eyes, foolish. He was the one that broke it off.
