Personal history
Raised on stories of heroes in a wartorn country, Koritir always wanted to be one. He joined a mercenary guild at 14 under the banner of one of Aspar's many war bands.
In his first battle, Koritir got quickly overwhelmed with cowardice, broke into a nearby carriage and fled to the coast. He left the country in shame, a deserter, never to return. The boat he hitched a ride on ended up in Ascium; a merchant vessle allowed in even with the harsh decrees.
It was in Ascium where he left and was picked up by Zaneni the Patient who took him on and introduced him to the Fighter's Guild.
He has a tense relationship with Verra Argomi who is much too brash for his liking.
Koritir aspires to at least be friends with someone who would become a legendary hero like the stories he grew up on even if he can't bring himself to be one on his own merit.
