The Oraculum Fragment

Purpose

The Oraculum was written to honour the legend of the Five and their ascension to godhood. It was also meant to be a reminder to the masses that if the gods ever falter there is hope that they can be overthrown again and someone better replace them.

Historical Details

Legacy

The document was treasured and engraved in all temples to the five for many years until it began to disappear from history until it was all but forgotten. No one but the gods know which god started the retraction or how many and who were eventually involved in destroying all evidence of it.

The Oraculum Fragment

The segment that Alecto Ocreata holds reads:

-- by mortal hands torn down and usurped. The five gods stand as reminders to honour their past actions and freely spread knowledge of this aspect of their existence as a warning to each-other that they must grow to be better than what came before.

It is known to few how, but (a section of stone is chipped away) and the order that resides therein has kept the knowledge for as long as gods have risen and fallen. If time has once again wound its way to the point of rebirth those with plans on the celestial thrones should seek out The Am-(the rest of the name is scratched out) to learn the path they must tread,
