Animal Civilian Liberty Alliances A.C.L.A

The A.C.L.A are organizations dedicated to the safety processing and registry of Ascended creatures. Its mission is to offer these animals protection and access to education and boarding. For the most part, they are charitable, but most factions within the alliance are self-serving, making practical use of civilian animals for humans without the need for force and illegal capture. It is common for the animals to be monitored and kept tabs on and agents are often tasked with coaxing animals out of tribes into human societies so that the creatures can provide services in exchange for food, shelter, and water. Most major cities have offices or barracks dedicated to these services. Creatures serving as ACLA agents also have the opportunity to gain an education according to their aptitude and usefulness.
While the ACLA markets itself as a bastion for accended it is more a government-sponsored corporation, making income from the animals it tracks and takes in. its corporate functions allow for fewer diplomatic problems when dealing with different countries by offering its services to communities at a price to avoid favoritism. The organization exists in chapters around the globe, sponsored and led by elected government officials in their respective homelands. most find the ACLA's treatment cruel but many agree having registered wards is much less cruel than the fates of most unregistered accended taken advantage of by the likes of crime syndicates private militias and cults
Accended sponsored by the A.C.L.A have a limited level of choice when selecting their lot in human society, usually according to their species. Small dexterous animals will likely find work as errand fetchers and simple task workers, large hooved animals will often be provided as beasts of burden, while large carnivores will likely be trained as RRA's (Recon Rescue Animals) or security.
What little mlitery work accended animals are trained for is Non combative, however a select few sponserd creatures are trained by Shepherds organizations to help combat Abominations/Demons and other abberent phenomenon around the world
