Dark Resources

Earth tainted by the arks various anomalies seem to bolster the energy available in many natural resources present within. Resources used in the production of batteries and combustible fuels have an increased energy availability that is incredibly sought after. Even renewable resources like wood and food grown in locations near arks grow faster and stronger making agriculture near these locations have extraordinary yields. The closer the earth is to the arks epicenters the more energy is available in these resources, however, the acquisition is equally as dangerous. Metal in machines is levels more durable when manufactured with these dark materials and resources used to power machines have more energy available combined with the materials themselves being more thermally efficient. These boons have allowed humanity at its current state, to advance in technology centuries ahead, however, such technology is limited as is with these resources themselves.
