Cecaelia War (History)

Myths come from real history, most of the time. The Cecaelia War might be more history than a myth.

The war was the first and the last time the two kingdoms, Esterdwell Kingdom and Fair Bay Kingdom, worked together. The cecaelia had waters that both kingdoms wanted. After they made an agreement about what to do the two kingdoms attacked and destroyed the cecaelia.

The Conflict

Prelude

The Requiem, from Esterdwell Kingdom asked the Cecaelia to give them the Raging Abyss. The cecaelia refused and started to want little to do with the Requiem.
The Requiem asked the Sirens from the Fair Bay Kingdom for help. The Sirens agreed as long as the Raging Abyss became apart of their kingdom upon victory. The two kingdoms agreed and wrote out a treaty to aid each other.
The two kingdoms then attacked the cecaelia. They did this without giving the cecaelia a warning. The war started with the two kingdoms having the upper hand.

Historical Significance

Legacy

The war was turned into a myth. Sometimes the real history and the myth are confused. The real world legacy of the war was the fact that most of the Cecaelia were wiped out.
