Metoro, Realm of Insanity

Of the six Lost Gods, Metoro is the most unique, unlike the others, Metoro is not lost because his will was taken, he is lost because he fled the Cosmic Sea. Previously the Gods assumed that the Cosmic Sea was all that was, but Metoro tore a hole in its fabric and disappeared into an unknown place, a place the other Gods fear and call ‘Delirium’.
From this tear in the Cosmic Sea, Delirium spilt forth, creating the Realm of Madness. A flat plane radiating 4,500km out from the tear, and growing slowly, 1km each year, the Gods worry that the tear will one day consume the entire Cosmic Sea.
This Realm is a bizarre place twisted by the influence of Delirium, it is populated by beings from Delirium itself, it is the birthplace of all Horrors and the source of mutations that transform mundane beasts into monstrosities. This place is coated in purple slime and with writhing tentacles and lidless eyes. At the centre is the tear, none, not even the gods, know what lies on the other side, or even if Metoro still exists or was destroyed by Delirium.
