Hoardsperson

The task of the Hoardsperson is to store and document all acquired loot, wealth, mission-critical goods, and resources that any Acquisitions Incorporated Team encounters. Each Hoardsperson also manages the resources of the team and disperses them as they see fit, handles expenses and management of provisions and supplies, and is expected to replenish the supplies necessary for the rest of the team to do their job, down to the last quill, arrow, and healing potion.   Formal Job Responsibilities Include:
  • Management of Team allocated budget and expenses, including bookkeeping and allocation of funds along with justification of expenses incurred.
  • Ensuring resupply of job-related resources spent, such as arrows, food and water, and other necessary resources.
  • Collections Agent for the timely retrieval of all funds promised to team from customers, whether the customer wants to pay or not.
  • Evaluation of the value of any treasure obtained by the team and accurately reporting it to the rest of the party
  • Cooperation with other members of designated team in all mission-critical activities.
  • Securing additional streams of revenue and acquisition of resources during missions (See 'Sidequest" clause in standard employment contract)
Upon initial selection for this position, an applicant will receive specialized training and equipment in the form of the following:  
  • Proficiency in either Appraise, Use Magic Device, or a +1 specialization bonus in one of the two should the player character already have both from their class/race.
  • An Acquisitions Incorporated standard-issue Loot Satchel, Jeweler's Tools, account ledger,, as well as 5 GP worth of the following options: barrels, baskets, block and tackles, bucket, chest, flask or tankard, jug or pitcher, iron pot, pouch, sack, saddlebags, vial, and waterskin.
  And upon attaining a promotion in their selected career path, a Hoardsperson will gain the following abilities and privileges associated by rank:

Handling supplies, equipment maintenance and restocking, wealth disbursement and expense approvals, the Hoardsperson is a nice person to have on your side. Expect this chap to have the resources to haul all the loot away, who tries to always have the right tool for the job, and who can request additional magical goods and supplies from the Home Office!
