Obviator

Obstacles abound on the path to riches. A Team's mission success might require combating a rival organizations' disinformation attempts one day, then besting a castle's defenses the next. The day after that, some poor sap named Bob might need to be disposed of. And no matter what the type of challenge that needs to be overcome, a Team's Obviator determines the optimal way to shut down, slay, or destroy that challenge.
Nothing personal, it's just business.

Formal Job Responsibilities Include:

• Anticipating problems before they occur and alerting your chosen teammates to their possible existence.
• Establish a strategy, tactic, scheme, plot, or other response for any possible obstacle you foresee as getting in the way of your team's designated mission.
• Destroy targets, information, and obstacles that stand in your team's way with peak efficiency.
• Obtain intelligence and report pertinent information back to the Home Office.
• Cooperation with other members of designated team in all mission-critical activities.
• Securing additional streams of revenue and acquisition of resources during missions (See 'Sidequest" clause in standard employment contract)

Upon initial selection for this position, an applicant will receive specialized training and equipment in the form of the following:

• Proficiency in Knowledge (Nature) or Craft (Alchemy), or a +1 specialization bonus in one knowledge skill should the character already have skill ranks in both of them.
• An Acquisitions Incorporated standard-issue Obviator's Lens, plus a portable alchemist's kit (Which contains a dose of arsenic, two glass beakers, a metal framework to hold a beaker in over an open flame, a glass stirring rod, a mortar and pestle, and a pouch of common alchemical ingredients including salt, powdered iron, and purified water)

And upon attaining a promotion in their selected career path, an Obviator will gain the following abilities and privileges associated by rank:
