Hameed I Saab
Hameed I Saab
Hameed I of Caspia was king of Caspia from 902 to 942 IC. He was the last king of the "Golden Age" of Caspia, considered to have roughly lasted from the middle of the 7th century, to first decades of the 10th century.
Hameed finished the construction of the Emerald Stairs in Lebis. He also ordered the rebuilding of its walls and fortresses in the modern style. For this latter achievement he is honoured each year in that city with a holiday colloquially called "Good King Ham's Restoration Day".
