Stretch Drive Depletion

An event where the Wolven experienced a near complete shortage of the Stretch Drive technology after the death of the last Wolven emperor. Gifted by the patron Parent, stretch drives allow Sibling species to travel light year distances in a matter of hours. Unable to travel to other star systems, the Stretch Drive Depletion strained the Wolves' relationship with other Siblings and their Child species and wounded their pride.  
Amicus uses the technology to abduct Marco on Earth and states the Stretch Drive depletion as the reason he cannot return Marco immediately. The loss of stretch drives becomes an important political issue in the Trials of Succession.
