Demons in the Light

General Summary

Dragons Wings, this is absolutely urgent. The outpost we established in the desert allowed for settlers to set up in the desert, or at least at its edge, which we considered a massive triumph - the first settlement far away from the coasts, true proof of our continued progress on Ysgard! But then the demons began swarming in.
Frumpton, the town, has nearly been destroyed outright, with settlers either slaughtered or scattered into the wind.
The demons came from nowhere, in the middle of the night, and swarmed them before anyone could react, let alone contact us.
It's the day after, and what's left are ruins. Scouting from our tower confirms that the demons seem to be patrolling and securing the land. Either this was a planned assault, or an attempt at colonization of their own. Whatever the case, we urgently need adventurers brave enough to clear them out, and perhaps send a message that we will not take this laying down.
Pay will be 250GP per person, and the title of "Slayer" within Blue Star lands, a prestigious title that will confer some.. privileges. I'll explain more should it be granted.

After taking a small amount of time looking over their supplies and preparing themselves to battle demons, the party ventured out to the Snuggle Towers teleportation circle with haste - taking it from Stokra the instant they were prepared.
Scouting from the Towers, they were able to see the city up in flames, but curiously enough, the demons attempting to make their repairs on the town as well - clearly re-fortifying it and planning on making it a base of their own.
The party swiftly moved into place, starting with a bit of espionage and sneaking around until they were spotted by one of the demonic beasts. Combat broke out and the party fought to survive as big, massive gorilla-like beasts savagely clawed at them and even punched them physically through some of the buildings.
Slowly making their way towards the ruined town, the party continued to dispatch all manner of demons, and in one instance, they found a surviving man who was understandably scared out of his mind and hiding in his house as quietly as possible. Assuring his safety, the party cleared a path for the man and killed the demons surrounding his building.
A Bone Devil revealed himself as the one presumably calling the shots, sending monsters after monsters at him, but he was batted back by the long lost paladin Dumphry the Righteous to the point of needing to retreat. The party unable to find a way to stop him, the Bone Devil flew off into the sunset - sure to return in some manner.
Also a giant wasp demon tried to escape but then Callias sniped it from like 100 feet away and everyone thought it was totally awesome.
The party informed the hiding civilian that the demons were cleared and then returned to Dragons Wings to report their success.
