Kossuth (Koh-Sooth)

Lord of Flames

Kossuth, the god of elemental fire, resides within the Elemental Chaos as part of The Domain of Chaos pantheon. While not divine in a true sense, he is a Primordial being whose power rivals that of a true deity. Kossuth has lorded over fire since the earliest moments of existence. Though, it is of some conjecture whether he is the same being or but one in a long line of successors. Of the four lords, Kossuth is the most active and vocal to those on the material; however, this is still a rare occurrence, as he spends most of his time embroiled in the intrigues of the Elemental Planes   Kossuth's doctrine of elemental supremacy virtually assures conflict with the other elemental lords, most notable [Istishia], whom Kossuth vehemently opposes. Following his doctrine, the Church of Kossuth has established a rather hierarchical and impersonal reputation.   Upon the Plane of Fire, Kossuth dwells within the Crimson Pillar, a 10-mile-wide globe made from his primordial power of fire. It is said that the blue-white flames of the Pillar radiate a heat that makes the rest of the plane seem cold by comparison.

Divine Domains

Kossuth is the embodiment of fire, destruction, wrath, and renewal.   The destructive potential of this elemental lord is unmatched; it is said his fires rage for decades before receding. But through the flame, everything is reborn; land flourishes anew, creatures return, and a new life begins. All are made equal in Kossuth's blaze, and all may be reborn.   Primordials cannot grant Cleric spells, and their most devout and "blessed" are usually called Sorcerers.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Though depicted in many different forms, Kossuth is most commonly envisioned as an elemental. A being of pure flame binding itself to the form of a human. With molten rock, he forms a sort of armor around himself. His limbs and head take on the shape of a typical human, yet they remain as pure flame and nothing more.
