Mount Malcarres

Malcarres is the largest active volcano on Arsura, its peak over 9,000 ft. high. This volcano no longer explodes violently as the lava and pressure are consistently released through openings in the sides of the mountain. With these, a constant flow of lava is exposed and able to be exploited by metallurgists and smiths alike. This assists greatly in the creation of many unique and traditional things.

The Empire of Arsura resides solely on an island positioned not far off the coast of the mainland. This island appeared as a result of underwater volcanoes slowly creating a decently sized landmass overtime. Eventually, a large enough mass emerged, allowing for settlers from the mainland to arrive and create their own Empire. The island primarily consists of large mountainous regions, peppered with volcanoes. These mountains allowed for frigid high peaks, and moderate low valleys, permitting a wide range of races to survive its otherwise deadly outward appearance. As a result of this, it became a natural hot-spot for precious ores and metals, becoming a natural forge as there is an abundance of lava flowing through the mountains.
