Owlbear

A monstrous cross between giant owl and bear, an owlbear’s reputation for ferocity and aggression makes it one of the most feared predators of the wild. They protect their cubs aggressively and can chase a threat for many miles.    These ferocious beasts used to roam the forests of Adolon freely, but have gone into hiding. Only a few cases of tracks and droppings have been reported for the last 250 years.

Basic Information

Anatomy

This magnificent beast has the body of a large bear and the head of a majestic owl. This combination gives the animal excellent eyesight and frightening strength.

Growth Rate & Stages

The owlbear reaches maturity at around the age of 5. They live up to 40 years of age.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Owlbears hunt and eat mostly meat. They kill deer and other animals smaller than them for food. Coming across one of these beast is an extremely dangerous situation.
