The Simple Lantern Inn
A small inn within Alverton. All travelers within these parts spend their night here, unless they want to sleep outside.
The woodworkers and farmers of the town often come here and drink after a long day of work.
Purpose / Function
This is the only inn in miles. It stands in the middle of the modest village.
Hunters, fishers and adventurers who happen to pass through Alverton spend their nights here. The prices are low and the food is great. The inn prides itself because of its excellent local ales and deer stew.
Alterations
Some of the logs have been replaced over the almost 400 years of the inns operation. Luckily Kingsbirch is extremely tough and can withstand the weather and ware of hundreds of years.
Architecture
The inn is built of long Kingsbirch logs. It has a red tiled roof that keeps its habitants dry and sheltered from even the worst of storms.
History
This building was made in 955 when Alverton was first built. It has seen its fair share of strange travellers over the almost 400 years that its been standing here.
Tourism
Not many travellers come to this part of the realm; there isn't much to see here, only a few hamlets here and there and the fishing fillave of Norbury. People who venture here usually have a message to bring or are on a trade route to collect resources for the capital.
