Benjamin Fortier (a.k.a. Ben)
Benjamin Fortier is the kind and honorable innkeeper of "Badger's Inn", an inn and tavern located in the Ausrian city of Fidelia. His inn, located at the Fidelian city center, is one of the most popular gathering places in the city, attracting tourists and civilians alike. The inn's popularity is due partly to its reputation for great food and affordable amenities, but also due to the genuine kindness of the Fortier family.
Benjamin's family consists of his eight-year-old daughter, Stella Fortier, who regularly helps out around the inn. Benjamin's wife, Sophie, was an amateur inventor specializing in transmutation technology. Specifically, Sophie was attempting to find a way to feed mass numbers of people by transmuting objects into food. Sadly, Sophie perished during the city's second scourge of the Deadly Raven, a victim of one of the monsters created by Henry Olmsted.
During the city's second scourge of the Deadly Raven, Benjamin housed and fed the Tulips and helped them with their investigation. At the end of their journey, Benjamin offered them his tradesman's card, to help guide them through the Wastelands undisturbed. It is heavily implied that Benjamin was once an adventurer, but settled down in Fidelia to raise Stella.

General Physical Condition
Benjamin Fortier is a hulk of a man, to the point where many have jokingly questioned if he may be part giant. Standing at a whopping 6'11", the door frames of Badger's Inn are massive to account for his hulking stature. Despite living a relatively quiet life now, Benjamin has many scars riddled throughout his body.

Benjamin is primarily motivated by his daughter, Stella. He is singularly focused on keeping her safe and making sure she grows up to be the wonderful woman her mother knew she could be.

Benjamin has good relations with Pembra, the leader of the Doll Clan. They regularly trade with one another, and she keeps him safe when he's traveling through the Wastelands.
Benjamin also has good relations with the Tulips, who saved his daughter and his city.
