Grappling Swingshot

A versatile and useful tool, allowing one to basically rappel upward instead of climbing, and even capable of supporting some individuals or objects and affixing to something solid to be utilized to swing smaller individuals or objects over quite notably sized gaps.

Special Rules: Requires Ranged (Chymech) skill roll to utilize, to insure a solid connection.

Dangerous (Special): There is a risk with this object. Once it is shot, the user has no real way to be sure how solidly they are hooked in without well testing it. If their total skill roll is less than their Power attribute, then without any roll required they know if its solid or not, for it will pop loose if its not with ease. However if their total skill roll is more than their Power attribute, the only way to check it is to test it.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Can also have a clip and lift ring attached to the cable to lock it at an extended length after fired, being set to retract til taut, and that clip and hook can have objects affixed to it of up to the weight of a 300 lbs, allowing one to swing them across gaps equal to up to 200 feet (so twice the cable length). An individual can also just lock the cable, and swing across a gap by holding the swingshot launcher itself.

Tier II Effects: Retraction speed 10 feet/action, cable can be 150 feet.
