Paralyzed

Unable to move, not a muscle, even your eyes can't twitch. Breathing is a vicious and painful effort, as even the muscles that allow your respiratory system to do its job struggle to even simply cooperate.

Causes

There are a notable variety of effects, some from toxins, poisons and venoms of various creatures, some from spells and powerful magick effects, that can inflict a poor soul with this condition.

Symptoms

Full body muscle lock, difficulty breathing, inability to move one's extremities or even any muscle really, no matter how hard one tries.

Adventures in Valerick: Being afflicted with the Paralyzed Condition means one can take no action at all that requires any sort of movement or motion, or in more layman's terms, one cannot take any actions outside of actions that require only thought.

Treatment

The varied sources of paralysis all have their own unique cures, however they can generally be cured by a variety of magicks as well. Furthermore many are actually relatively temporary (lasting anywhere from minutes to days) depending on the source/potency, and as such, if left to their own devices, and in a safe place, victims of such effects will eventually just recover.
