Snareroot Satchel

A favorite little trick of many hunters, something that can be tied to an arrow or crossbow bolt, tossed, or even rigged up to be stepped on.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Deployment Time and Tools: Can be deployed pretty much as part of an attack action, but also rigged up in a simple trap over the course of 1 minute. Snareroot seedpod, with but a pinch of powdered emerald and sapphire all contained in a small cloth or burlap satchel.

Effected Area: 5 foot space it is just a single target

Trigger Mechanism/Condition: Stepping on it, sudden impact, like if you use an arrow to shoot it at someone.

Immediate Effects: Upon being triggered, the seedpod suddenly sprouts, the think vines of the Snareroot plant immediately wrapping around the target's ankles and calfs, entangling them. They are restrained and counted as grappled.

Lasting Effects: This effect will last up to a 1 minute, and requires a Power Defense Test to successfully break loose.
