Bral the One-Eared
Bral the One-Eared1 was a mercenary leader from Úrún who served in Góalanis before and during the orcish invasions of Góalanis. Bral lost his left ear (and in turn earned his fame) in Góalanis while saving the life of Dilríos Kóas, king of Yflía, during a battle against a rival kingdom.
He fought against the Vúhekog tribe during their first invasion of the city of Varóta (modern Úrtóa), where Bral and his men jumped off the (admittedly low) city walls to meet the enemy head-on.
His luck failed during the second invasion; in the ensuing chaos when the invaders breached the walls, Bral was seriously injured after being run over by a panicking horse, making him an easy target for the enemy.
