Apparel
White-gords, especially warriors, traditionally bleach their hair with lead, and the women often wear tall white hats, both of which are meant to evoke the snow-capped peak of the sacred Mt. Kotrax.Religion
The patron deity of the white-gords is Kotraxía, a mother goddess associated with the sacred mountain at the center of their land, whose worship is so central to their religious life that it borders on monolatrism. All ceremonies, including weddings and and swearing oaths, involve facing the mountain and offering libations to the goddess at some point to gain her favour.1Original icelandic: Hvítgordar, singular: Hvítgordi
