Zameltonía
Paþarian: Zamíkos
Ancient annorean: Nirne-Ipillidinnú (Land of the Short Ones)
Zameltonía was one of the world's earliest civilizations and its first empire, and its eventual collapse marks the end of bronze age in central Adynía. Ruled by the dwarven Zameltoníans, its success initially laid in keeping the secrets of bronze-working for themselves, and afterwards in its highly organized society, fortified underground cities, and access to good farmland.
Zameltonía ruled much of the Meldon Plain (specifically the area around the river Kir) and for a time extended all the way south to modern Ahaþrys in western Nemirkía.

Structure
Government
Each city in the empire was ruled by a king (remter), who kept an eye on native tribal chiefs in surrounding villages but also answered to a high-king (reremter), whose court was located in the city of Irtúlan on the northwestern Meldon Plain.Military
Warriors on chariots, armed with spears or magic staves, formed the backbone of the zameltonian army, and remained a force to be reckoned with even after their rivals figured out metallurgy on their own. Enchanted weapons, armour and shields were common, and many warriors were trained in some form of arcane martial arts in case they lost their weapons.Disbandment
