Military action

Tribes from Záal and Gráhúlysía invade Zameltonía in waves, bringing a swift and violent end to millennia of zameltonían rule over the Meldon Plain. This also marks the end of bronze age in that part of the world.

After centuries of decline, zameltoníans had become ever more dependent on mercenaries from the northern edges of Zameltonía to suppress revolts within the empire. When unable to pay them for their services, zameltonían kings often resorted kill off the mercenaries rather than face their wrath. When one such band, lead by the záali Jaró met such fate, his brother Vakkal, a tribal chief, became enraged and gathered his warriors against the dwarves to avenge him.
Vakkal's rampage caused a great deal of destruction in Zameltonía, other tribes soon followed, some in search for riches, others for new lands to settle.
