Barony of Branchfork Port

The Barony of Branchfork Port consists of a bit of farmland surrounding the town of Branchfork Port.    This large port town is situated at the merging of the Bitterspring and Branch rivers. Its position on the two fastest rivers in the nation has made Branchfork Port into the nation's foremost port town.   All naval trade to and from Bitterguard must pass through the port town, which has lead to very strict laws and regulations, and high tariffs.

Architecture

Ever since its original construction several hundred years ago, the town of Branchfork Port's farmland has been secondary to its ability to control access to the rivers between which it sits. Much of the existing city consists of networks of long piers and drawbridges, designed to prevent illegal passage through the rivers.   Over the years, as erosion has changed the river's path, the town's system of piers and bridges has grown to into a sprawling maze.
