While you have any points of Confusion, you must succeed a Wisdom Save to complete complex tasks. Each point of Confusion also gives a -1 to all Wisdom Checks.
Each point of Hopelessness gives a -1 to Charisma Checks and Death Saves. While you have Hopelessness you must succeed a Charisma Save to try again after failing a task.
