Eremat
The church of Eremat is the smallest of the Triune. After the final crusade 120 years ago, the church fell into a rapid decline. With the final purging of the orcs from the old world, there was question if a warrior god like Eremat should even be part of the Triune in the new, more civilized world. The discovery of Aelcantar reversed this decline, and the church of Eremat is now enjoying a resurgence as the favored deity of pioneers and adventurers struggling against the many dangers of the new world. The church of Eremat keeps few traditional temples, his priests being warriors themselves and traveling from conflict to conflict to give the blessing of the warrior god to those about to engage in war, embark on a quest or to act as arbitrators when the law or justice is in contention.
Eremat of all the gods of the Triune is a controversial figure. For while warriors and crusaders worship him, so do warbands, bandits and assassins. The god of conflict seems blind to whom is about to engage in conflict, freely giving his blessings to those who do battle in his name. This makes Eremat an unpopular god among most commoners, especially those who live in the safety of large urbanized cities in the old world where direct war is a distant dream, his followers being seen as little more than troublemakers and agitators. Were it not for the role of Eremat in most justice systems it is questionable whether most larger cities would have a temple devoted to Eremat at all.
The priests of Eremat wear no unified uniform, being clad in what armour they can afford and is suitable for their location. His holy symbol is often embossed on shoulderpads and shields, carved into pommels and work as a pendant on a short chain.
