Kastelosa

Kastelosa was the capital city of the elven nation of Silverstar. Founded in 5531 BGF, Kastelosa served as the capital until the the city was razed in 496 BGF at the end of the Last Great War. Originally built in the midst of the forest Tesh'na, much of the forest for miles in every direction was eventually razed for materials to build their great city. Much of that cleared land was converted to farmland over the years, leaving a large, roughly circular zone in the midst of the forest that mostly remains to this day.
At its height, the city housed nearly 100,000 people. That population was divided 70/30 between the StarSingers and WoodSingers. The surrounding areas were home to nearly 200 smaller farming communities. These villages were almost entirely WoodSingers in makeup.
