History

Unlike most worlds, the major races of this world know that they were not created here. Though stories vary from race to race and region to region, almost all the old legends agree that the peoples of this world came here from elsewhere. Whether they all came from one other world or many is unknown. That knowledge has been lost over time and with the destruction of old records by the followers of the Three.   The true history no longer known by most peoples is that they were brought here from many other worlds. This is, or was, a world for refugees. And not all the refugees were mortal. Most of the Dead Gods were also refugees, coming from somewhere else and taking on a new persona and a new world. While a few groups of travelers found their own way to this world, most of those who arrived originally were worshipers of the Dead Gods who followed their god to this new world.   When the Three took control of this world, they cut off all known access points to Aeleon. Since then, the Three and their followers have worked tirelessly to destroy all knowledge of the past. As the true histories of the world make extensive reference to the Dead Gods, they have sought to destroy this knowledge to ensure their power hold on the world.
