Ascension

The story of Qoissai's ascension is one that has been passed down through generations of dwarven society, a tale that is both wondrous and inspiring. According to the legend, Qoissai was a mortal dwarf who possessed a rare gift for language and the ability to persuade others with her words. Despite being born into humble circumstances, Qoissai quickly rose to prominence within her community, earning the respect and admiration of all those who knew her. As a young dwarf, Qoissai was fascinated by the power of thunder, and often spent hours watching and listening to the thunderstorms that rolled across the mountains. She believed that the sound of thunder was a sign of the gods' power, and that the ability to wield that power would make her unstoppable. To that end, Qoissai devoted herself to the study of thunder, spending countless hours observing the storms and learning everything she could about the natural phenomenon.   In addition to her fascination with thunder, Qoissai was also a skilled warrior and tactician, able to lead her people to victory in battles against their enemies. Her success in war earned her the respect and admiration of her fellow dwarves, and she quickly rose to a position of leadership within her community.   It was during one of these battles that Qoissai's life was forever changed. As she was leading her people to victory against a powerful enemy, a bolt of lightning struck her, nearly killing her on the spot. As she lay dying on the battlefield, Qoissai had a vision of the gods, who offered her the chance to ascend to their ranks and become a deity herself.   Overwhelmed by the opportunity before her, Qoissai accepted the gods' offer, and in that moment, she was transformed into an ascended being. She gained powers over thunder, thrones, and language, and became a goddess of great importance to the dwarven people.   After her ascension, Qoissai became a protector and guide to her people. She was worshipped through sacrifices and offerings, and her wisdom and guidance were sought by rulers and leaders seeking to make wise decisions for their people. As a goddess of thunder, Qoissai was feared and revered by many, and her presence was felt in every aspect of dwarven society.   Over time, Qoissai's influence only grew, and she became known as a patron of the arts and a defender of the downtrodden. Her wisdom and guidance were sought by all, regardless of their station in life, and her teachings and legacy continue to be celebrated to this day.   In modern dwarven society, Qoissai is revered as a goddess of unparalleled power and wisdom. Her followers offer her sacrifices and prayers in the hopes of gaining her favor, and her guidance is still sought by rulers and leaders seeking to make wise decisions for their people.   Despite her immense power and influence, Qoissai remains humble and grounded, always willing to lend a listening ear to those who seek her guidance. She is a shining example of the best of dwarven society, and her legacy continues to inspire and guide all those who follow in her footsteps.
